"THE GREATEST PART TIME ROCK & ROLL BAND" Pontune 5 has been lighting up the Greater Toronto Club Scene and the Collingwood Ski Area for the past two years. In that time, they have become one of the most popular bands on the circuit. They are in high demand for Corporate & Private functions providing energetic and dance provoking music. This Dynamic & Diverse band plays songs from Current Hits, by artists such as The Killers, Tragically Hip, Green Day, Collective Soul, to Classic Hits from the 60’s through to the 90’s: Including songs from The Beatles, The Stones, Roy Orbison, Stevie Ray Vaughn and ZZ Top just to name a few. Their other dynamic is Country Rock & Ballads should the occasion demand it! The bands warm personality and pure talent will always excite the guests at any function. I am often asked why the name Pontune? Pontune is derived from the word Pontoon: bridging the music they play, appealing to our audiences of all ages and musical tastes for any event! Some people would have you believe that the band spends a lot of time partying on their Managers Pontoon Boat.
